Believer or not?

A terribly holivar topic, but I was interested. Religious issues can be discussed in comments, but without insults, calmly and reasonably. Otherwise I will delete the topic NAH!

Nobody forbids you to strive for more, it’s just that being a believer is easier not to worry too much about it.

Well, actually, any faith and religion grows out of human fears and powerlessness, in my opinion this is never a secret.

Baptized. I believe that there is a God, one common one, but we got him. And especially I don’t trust churches. But there are two wonderful quotes that are very satisfying:

God, according to clerics, https://mindepositcasino.co.uk/sizzling-hot-slot/ is an absolute ideal-perfection. Explain to me how such an idiotic idea came into this ideal head to create all of you morons.

xxx: And why do atheists consider believers stupid people?
yyy: The belief that a cosmic zombie Jew, who was his own father, can make you immortal if you symbolically eat his meat and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master so that he can remove from your soul the evil force that entered humanity because a talking snake persuaded the rib woman to eat a magic apple is, to say the least, miraculous

But you can not break the commandments and not be a Christian, the first circle of hell, and eternal boredom with people like you.

There are, and there are many of them.
At the Verdun meat grinder or on the Pacific Islands, everyone prayed to God? There is absolutely no time for this nonsense, when the howitzers did not stop for weeks, and machine-gun bursts became as familiar as the sound of a river or the singing of a bird.

According to the subject – non-believer

Anyone who doubts Dogma is an enemy. There is a point of view from the Bible (a very controversial book, by the way). There is the point of view of the Pope and other priests (very changeable every year). There are no more opinions and there cannot be. This is wrong, God teaches differently, even Christian..

and I will counter-argument to you (how)
why in Afghanistan the Taliban prayed and considered it a very important ritual, some say that even during combat operations, if the time for prayer came, everyone abandoned and prayed, and the prisoners were forced to accept their faith.
I myself don’t believe in God, just like he doesn’t believe in me, and I think that churches are nothing more than simple sects.

The fact that faith allows you to simplify some issues, to put them, so to speak, out of brackets – I personally don’t see anything wrong with that. Of course, if a person strives for the truth and does not accept self-deception, this is commendable, but what is more important for a person – to live a happy life, raise children, love his wife and believe that after death everything will not end and there will be something else and if you live in this world, respecting the life and dignity of other people, then in another world this will be taken into account or persistently try to comprehend the truth and in the end still die without understanding anything?
I’m exaggerating, this is understandable, and probably most people will never face such a choice. But personally, I still don’t see anything bad in faith and… a little self-deception. Fanaticism, religious frenzy – it sucks, but decent, calm faith – there’s nothing wrong with that.

Christianity is a religion, the Bible is a book, the commandments are the words of Moses… Which means all this was created by people. God has nothing to do with religion.
